A letter to the world

Promises were never meant to be broken,
It was meant to be kept,
The word "promise" has a power within it,
Unfortunately most abuses its power.

You don't promise to drag someone closer to you,
You don't promise to get out of trouble,
You don't promise to make someone feel better,

But you promise when you swore an oath deep inside your heart,
And you'll do anything not to break it,

Because it will break you.

Don't promise if you can't keep it,
If breaking promises is easy for you,
Receiving broken promises are difficult for everyone.

Promise,
And stay true to it.

They are meant to be kept.
