To all that matters

I'm tired of this.

I'm tired of being pushed around like this.

I'm tired of certain people giving me songs that is beyond my vocal range,
And expect me to train up my vocal chords and reach that note.

So what if I can reach that note and able to complete the song?
While straining my voice all the way throughout?

The song may have cool guitar parts,
The song my have the bass line everyone who listens will get hook to,
The song may have the drums giving the hype to everyone.

But you can't just put me inside and expect me to fit in with all the notes playing around me.

You may not notice,
The band may not notice,
But the crowd will know how much I'm trying to force out those high notes I strain hard to reach,

They will know thats not my natural range,
Then it'll reflect back on the band.

And me?
I'm risking jamming up my chords and get all strained up.

I want us to sound like a band,
Not pushing everyone beyond their limits.

There's reasons why I kept improvising our originals,
No matter how complete they may sound.

I want to make them in such a way they sound like a band.

And that is why there are times I suggest bringing a third party to listen to us,
Because only a vocalist,
And someone outside listening to us,

Will really know how the melody sounds like,
How complete we sounds like.

Ever wonder why I took so much pride in "Play of the Night"?

It's the only song that brings everyone into the limelight,
Taking their turns.

That is what I want,
No one is singled out.

And whatever happened to them sessions?

The mode of our band's chemistry,
The mode of coming up with new songs together?

We used up all the times going for jamming sessions,
But is there no one else except me who realise there's something missing?

That band chemistry we used to have?

To everyone that matters,

Our break since Mayday was far too long,
We need to get back up on our feet running again.

Bring those sessions back,
And understand the limits of every member in the band.

The Vocalist,
Lan
